The Flip Side of
Internet Fame “by, Jessica Bennett
In the
article “The Flip Side of Internet Fame” by Jessica Bennett she talks about the
danger of posting things on the internet.
Anything you post is visible by others; something may just get you in
trouble. The stories she told in the
writing were about kids posting stuff to humiliate other people,
After reading this
article my thought on this is that Jessica entirely right about the humiliation
someone can receive. just by posting something
on the internet for fun. Or maybe they weren’t
thinking at all. I think that people should
pay attention to the things before post on the internet. Because once people have something. To make a joke about you to everyone it can
haunt you for the rest of your life.
In one of Jessica Bennett paragraph, she mentions
that everyone can become a celebrity or a worldwide villain in an instant’’ say
Daniel Solove, a law professor at George Washington university and of the future
of reputation: Rumor and privacy on the
internet (Yale) “some people may revel in that but others might say that not
they role they wanted to play in life.”
Sometime I go on Facebook and see A lot of teens expose their business without
even knowing and when people see that
they want to start rumors and the internet because a problem some people even
get harassed for things like that. I
really do have sympathy for people that make videos and don’t mean harm at all. I don’t think people have a right to expose
people without their permission.
Over the entire
internet could be good in bad ways and good ways. The bad way are people being immature the
good ways are people being responsible and mature about situation.
