Good Grammar Gets the Girl by Elissa Englund

In the essay “Good Grammar Gets the Girl” Elissa England, tell us about her becoming part of an online dating site and how unattractive it is when men use bad grammar.  She gives several examples of the grammar errors she has seen.  She also discovered that many people make spelling errors when trying to express themselves through writing or e-mails.  She talk about his guy she met named Craig and became completely turn off by his spelling errors and choices of words.
As I read this passage I enjoyed learning that it is not good to use abbreviations.  It makes me think I am giving a bad impression of myself.  This passage also made me remember how my teachers always told me to read out loud what I write.  It makes you realize on how people treat each other without knowing each other.  The way people approach you.
People now these days don’t think about the way they talk to each other.  They think that it is cool to use slang as they chat.  Even when they are meaning someone new they still use slang, they do not think about how lazy they look.  The sad thing is that there parents start to do the same thing without analyzing what they are doing.
In one of Elissa England paragraph, she mentions that   that grammar isn’t just a subject taught in seventh grade or a thing you worry about when writing a cover letter any longer.  If you can’t spell, use grammar, or express yourslfe through writing, you’re going to be in trouble with the ladies.
Over all I believe that people shouldn’t get judged by the way they write.  I also believe that if people are looking for someone to love they shouldn’t be worried about the way that they write and they should worry more about the personality of the person and the life they have, not the way that they write.

The Flip Side of Internet Fame “by, Jessica Bennett

The Flip Side of Internet Fame “by, Jessica Bennett

In the article “The Flip Side of Internet Fame” by Jessica Bennett she talks about the danger of posting things on the internet.  Anything you post is visible by others; something may just get you in trouble.  The stories she told in the writing were about kids posting stuff to humiliate other people,

After reading this article my thought on this is that Jessica entirely right about the humiliation someone can receive.  just by posting something on the internet for fun.  Or maybe they weren’t thinking at all.  I think that people should pay attention to the things before post on the internet.  Because once people have something.  To make a joke about you to everyone it can haunt you for the rest of your life.

In one of Jessica Bennett paragraph, she mentions that everyone can become a celebrity or a worldwide villain in an instant’’ say Daniel Solove, a law professor at George Washington university and of the future of reputation:  Rumor and privacy on the internet (Yale) “some people may revel in that but others might say that not they role they wanted to play in life.”

Sometime I go on Facebook and see  A lot of teens expose their business without even knowing  and when people see that they want to start rumors and the internet because a problem some people even get harassed for things like that.  I really do have sympathy for people that make videos and don’t mean harm at all.  I don’t think people have a right to expose people without their permission.

Over the entire internet could be good in bad ways and good ways.  The bad way are people being immature the good ways are people being responsible and mature about situation.

"Four Types of Courage" by Karen castellucci Cox,

Four Types of Courage “by Karen castellucci Cox,

In the article "Four Types of Courage" by Karen Castellucci Cox talks explains four different kinds of courage.  You can show the physical courage trait, is when you have the ability to confront bodily pain or danger with self-possession, but for a greater good.

When I think of physical courage I think of the fire fighters and police officers, soldiers that   what comes to my mind first.  These men and women sacrifice their lives to save others every day.  Knowing there is a chance they may never see their family or friends ever again.  That is physical courage to me.

Everyone faces social courage especially in school.  I am a really shy person and I still am, when I was in school I didn’t have a lot of friends.  I remember on the bus rides home I always sit in the middle to avoid other students.  But one day I couldn’t avoid it any more there were other students on the bus that considered themselves as popular, they would pick on several kids making fun of them and even physics hitting on them, one day I realized what they were doing wasn’t right so I went and sit next to one of the kids they picking on I tried to be friends with him.  After a while the other kids left him long.

And finally creative courage which is something that has improved our inventions and has turns ideas into action.  In one of   Karen castellucci Cox paragraph, he mentions that creative courage is “discovering new forms, patterns” and solutions that no one has yet imagined and that might even promote a better future.

We cannot change the world.  But if we exercise this courage’s we can make a different in the lives of the people around us.

I personally believe you don't have to,  but usually when you're facing such a situation there will be some consequences if...
